About the Role

911 Restoration of Northwest Arkansas is seeking an experienced, motivated, and certified Restoration Technician who has the proven ability to run mitigation jobs from start to finish.

This role involves responding to emergency property damage situations including water, fire, mold, and sewage mitigation. If you have a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, an active WRT certification, and the drive to deliver excellent customer service during stressful situations, we want you on our team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Emergency Response: Respond promptly and professionally to emergency mitigation calls; participate in an after-hours on-call rotation.
  • Mitigation & Restoration: Perform hands-on water, fire, smoke, and mold mitigation, including demolition, removing damaged materials, setting up drying equipment, and monitoring progress.
  • Inspections & Technology: Conduct property damage inspections using moisture meters and thermal imaging tools. Accurately track and document drying progress.
  • Job Documentation: Take detailed photos, atmospheric readings, and notes to document jobs thoroughly using Encircle software for insurance and office staff.
  • Customer Service & Sales: Guide homeowners and businesses through the restoration process with empathy and clarity. Identify additional structural needs and assist in converting inspections into jobs.
  • Asset Management: Maintain clean, organized, and functional company vehicles, tools, and drying equipment while adhering to strict safety standards.


Position Requirements (Deal Breakers)

  • Active IICRC WRT (Water Damage Restoration Technician) Certification.
  • Proven experience in water mitigation, structural drying, demolition, and using moisture meters.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean, insurable driving record.
  • Proficiency with (or ability to quickly master) Encircle or similar restoration documentation software.
  • Ability to participate in the emergency after-hours on-call schedule.
  • Strong customer service, communication, and basic sales/consulting skills.
  • Must be reliable, professional, and a collaborative team player.


Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift and carry 50+ lbs regularly.
  • Ability to comfortably work in crawl spaces, attics, and heavily damaged structures.
  • Ability to work long or irregular hours during widespread weather events or complex emergency situations.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Additional IICRC Certifications (AMRT, FSRT, ASD).
  • Experience navigating and documenting directly for insurance claims.
  • Background in carpentry, construction, or demolition.
